How to enter the tournament?

【Qualifying divisions】

*Open
Each winner from groups [Open, Senior, Super Senior and Ladies] and competitors who gain 'Wild card' move to the block final.
*LDAA will decide valid Wild card depending on a number of the participants at each semifinal.
*LDAA will give winner's points to prizewinners after each block final.

*Senior ---[45+] DOB on or before the 1st day of competition
A player recording the longest drive in a group is a block winner
*Qualifying divisions will be held depending on the number of participants
*LDAA will give winner's points to prize winners after each block tournament
*You can also compete in Open division

*Super Seniors---[50+] DOB on or before the 1st day of competition
A player recording the longest drive in a group is a block winner
*You can also compete in Open division

*Ladies
A player recording the longest drive in a group is a block winner

*Rules:
-3 [or 2 ] competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls [hit at the same time]
[2:30 for 1 competitor]
-A playoff is held if competitors have the same score

*Winner's points [for Open, Senior, and Super Senior]
-30p for the first prize / 20p for the second prize / 10p for the third prize/ 3p for the 4th prize
-3p for the rest competitors joined final tournament
-1p for competitors joined qualifying division with good scores

【Asia No.1 Playoff】

Open division -eligible competitors-[ a winner and the 2nd winner from block qualifying divisions , competitors who have high annual points ]

●Open division quarterfinal
・No. 1 and 2 competitors who have high annual points
・A winner from a tournament
・A winner of a LDAA block qualifying division held overseas
Competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls [hit at the same time]

◎Open division semifinal
Elect 2 finalists by competing among quarterfinalists
2 Competitors have 1:30 to complete their set of three balls

◎Open division final
2 finalists play a match. The longest drive competitor is awarded the Asia No. 1 champion
2 Competitors have 1:30 to complete their set of three balls

●Senior division
Senior division -eligible competitors [a winner from block qualifying divisions, competitors who have high annual points]
A finalist from a LDAA qualifying division held overseas
Finalists play a match. The longest drive competitor is awarded the Asia No. 1 champion.
Competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls

●Super Seniors division
Super Senior division-eligible players [ the winner from block semi-final , a player who has the highest annual point ]
A winner of a LDAA block qualifying division held overseas
Finalists play a match. The longest drive competitor is awarded the Asia No. 1 champion.
Competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls

●Ladies division
Ladies division -eligible players [ the winner from block semi-final , [ a player who has the highest annual point] ]
A winner of a LDAA block qualifying division held overseas
Finalists play a match. The longest drive competitor is awarded the Asia No. 1 champion.
Competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls

[Official Rules]

●Clubs: Only those clubs on the SLE Approved Conforming Club list are eligible [COR0.830]
Check out 'suitable head list' issued by R&A upon applying.
You should inform LDAA on a match day when a golf club is different from the one applied.
★Exceptions
Pending Club heads can be applied as an exception
If a club has not been approved by the SLE as of Oct.1, all the obtained results will be canceled and be transferred to the second-place competitor.
※All golf clubs must measure 50 [1270.0mm] or less on a horizontal surface
※Other rules apply to JGA rule.
※LDAA has a right to confirm a champion’s club if the golf club has no modification.

●Tee: Tees must NOT be longer than 4 inches [101.6mm] in length.
No accessory is acceptable.

●Meeting time: Late comers for divisions may result in disqualification.
※If you are late, inform LDAA in advance
※Absence without notice may be subject to disqualify for a next tournament.
No refund is accepted.

●Tournament hours and number of the balls
・3 Competitors have 2:45 to complete their set of six balls [1 competitor has 2:30 to complete his/her set of six balls]
※LDAA may alter the format and the number of balls due to weather or time constraints.
・A playoff is held if competitors have the same score
・At semifinal and final of Asia No.1 championship, 2 competitors have 1:30 to complete their set of three balls.

●Beginning and Ending
・The timer is set on the ground and starts counting after introducing competitors who complete teeing.
・Either earlier of completing a competitor’s set of balls or ending of the time allotted is considered game over.

●Qualified drive
・A qualified drive is measured from the tee line to the farthest point of the golf ball by Laser distance measurement devices.
・A qualified drive must be within 40 yards in width and a minimum of 270 yards for the Open Division and 250 yards for the others.
・LDAA may alter the format and minimum yardage required due to weather.
※A ball will be a foul in case of landing in a qualified grid after hitting objects outside of a grid.
※Balls uncompleted within an allotted time will be disqualified. [the longest ball within time will be measured]
Missing stroke with intent is considered as one stroke.

●Weather conditions
・LDAA may cancel a tournament if the weather condition is bad during tournaments.
・LDAA may clear all records and restart in case suspension lasts 1 hour and longer.
・In case a tournament cannot restart due to a continual bad weather;
(1)A competitor who has the longest record is awarded the champion in case a half tournament is over.
(2)A tournament will be canceled in case a half tournament is not completed.
※Final judgment will be conducted at the site.

●Right of Publicity and Copyright
・All rights associated with the use of any images, photographs, articles related to the event, including names of participants, shall belong to the LDAA.
・The unauthorized copying and replication of the contents of the events operated by LDAA, images and photographs are strictly prohibited. All Rights Reserved.

[Awards]
LDAA members who record the personal best [270Y for Open/ 250Y for Senior , Super Senior, Ladies] are awarded a certificate.

[Important notice]
・Entry fee will not be refunded.
・In the event of inclement weather, tournament /LDAA officials reserve the right to alter the format to accommodate the time allotted for the completion of the event.
・Divisions that fail to reach the minimum will be cancelled and competitors who have registered for those divisions will receive a full refund.
・LDAA shall not be held responsible for any sickness, injury, or any other accident, beyond the administration of first-aid relief.
・Warming up at a nearby golf course should be conducted with permission. Failure to do so and cause any trouble may result in Disqualification.
・No an organized group of gangsters or an illegal organization to be tolerated.
・Proper golf etiquette is required during all levels of the competition. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
・LDAA shall use the personal information of the participants for future contact and notification by the Plus One via e-mail. Please inform LDAA if it’s not necessary.
・LDAA shall handle the personal information of the participants in accordance with the laws and regulations concerning personal information protection.
・Lockers and shower rooms are not available at the site. Only cash is accepted at a restaurant.
・All clubs are subject to inspection by tournament officials.
・Failure to arrive in time for the start may result in disqualification.
・Please be aware of participants with small children.
・Please read and familiarize yourself and accompanied parties by these guidelines.
